This happened time and time again. I stopped eating the fruit for a week or so and then reintroduced it and the same thing happened. So, I think it is possible to be intolerant to certain foods and not have it show up on an allergy test.~Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124978623730840068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2190338653937955478.post-12182766303238816482010-08-11T10:58:56.588-04:002010-08-11T10:58:56.588-04:00You have an interesting thought about being intole...You have an interesting thought about being intolerant or sensitive to certain foods that don’t show up on test.

I don’t know which of these tests on the list were done other than; they took 2 vials of blood from me.~Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124978623730840068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2190338653937955478.post-55211371534156929912010-08-10T21:41:58.663-04:002010-08-10T21:41:58.663-04:00Interesting Brenda. No food allergies.

I just bought this book today, The Food Intolerance Bible. It seems to have a lot of useful info in it, I really want to get into it further as I feel that I may have sensitivities and intolerance to certain foods, and maybe they just don't show on an allergy test?

Anyhoo, I did glance at the chapter where they list all the types of allergy tests doctors may perform, do you know which one you took? Here is their list:

- Pulse Test
- Exclusion/Challenge
- Skin Prick
- Vega Test
- EAV
- Kinesiology
- RAST
- ELISA IgG
- Chemical Mediators from white blood cells (e.g FACTest)Fibro Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05519897464474776747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2190338653937955478.post-73107466563306713112010-08-10T12:30:37.244-04:002010-08-10T12:30:37.244-04:00I returned to my doctor this morning; the test res...I returned to my doctor this morning; the test results showed I am allergic to nothing. He was surprised; I was too. Doctor suggested the skin allergy test but, also mentioned how one can get a false negative. I told him I’m not ready to do that at this time.

What did your skin allergy test show?~Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124978623730840068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2190338653937955478.post-28888310576941876282010-08-09T21:42:10.654-04:002010-08-09T21:42:10.654-04:00Yes! I found this gadet on a migraine blog, I wonder if it would help too with tracking weather for your sinuses?

Its a marine device that is highly specialized in tracking the weather changes and barometric pressure.

http://www.relieve-migraine-headache.com/digital-barometer.html

And red wine, forgettaboutit! I know recently I've learned to predict how my sinus pressure is going to be...by watching approaching weather fronts. And I also know that certain wines trigger allergy type symptoms in me as well. I have had sinus/allergy problems for 5 weeks and am currently taking my 2nd antibiotic. I will let you know the results.~Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03124978623730840068noreply@blogger.com
