FIbromyalgia Knee Pains

I am still curious about my fibro knee pains, since that was my first symptom when everything started. I found this article, saying that sometimes in fibro the knee pain can actually be referred pain coming from knots in the muscles in your back, hips or thighs. Interesting!

I am going to print this article and take it with me next for my next massage, maybe they can target those areas on me.

Does anyone else experience severe pain in their knees with their fibromyalgia?

  2. Knee pain? Yes. Oh yes. It's the only thing keeping me from getting back to tennis. (So what if my rheumatologist said I should give up my favorite sport? When I played, I felt better than I ever have. Oh, I am a terrible patient.)

  3. :( my knee pain was the worst!, but I have since discovered something at the local drugstore (Walgreens, CVS) that takes away all my knee and joint pains! 1. First, my rheumy doc prescribed Limbrel for me -- it is an herbal / flavanoid made ok Chinese skullcap and black catechu 2. I djiscovered some glucosamine/chondroitin supplements at Walgreens that also have skullcap and black catechu -- schiff move free, flexamin, or I usu find a wa,lgreens brand that is least expensive -- just make sure to look at the ingredients and make sure has the skullcap and catechu. I could actuallly care less about the glucosamine & chondroitin! :)
